THE EXP MODEL, WALKED THROUGH
The one thing to understand.
Every eXp agent is on the exact same model. No sponsor can change your split, your cap, your stock, or your revenue share tiers. So the question is not which version of the model you get. It is who shows up for you after you sign.
How it works.

These are eXp's published mechanics, not an estimate of what you will make.
The split and the cap
You keep 80 percent of your commission and 20 percent goes to the brokerage until you reach the annual cap. After that you keep 100 percent, less a flat per transaction fee, for the rest of your anniversary year. Run your own numbers rather than take anyone's word for it.

Agents can earn company stock (Nasdaq: AGNT) through the capping award, the first transaction award, and the ICON program. Stock is earned through your own production, not through recruiting anyone.
Revenue share
Revenue share is paid from eXp's company dollar, never out of the producing agent's commission, so it never costs a sponsored agent anything. Tiers unlock as the agents you sponsor produce.
Support
The brokerage is cloud based with live training every week, state licensed managing brokers you can reach, and no requirement to recruit anyone, ever.
